After a slow start to the game, Braniel found themselves behind after a wonderful strike from OLQOP. After some adjustments at half-time, the boys flew out of the blocks in the second half and laid siege to the Our Lady goal. With just two minutes of the game remaining, Harlow netted a deserved equaliser taking the game to extra time.

The teams could not be separated during extra time which meant the game would be decided by penalties. Robbie and Harlow successfully converted their spot kicks, with goalkeeper Oliver making a stunning save to deny OLQOP and hand Braniel victory.
