Our Y5/6 footballers enjoyed a great afternoon of football in the sunshine at Rosario FC on Thursday, competing in the inaugural Ulidia Cup.

Braniel fielded two teams and competed against other local schools Forge IPS, Knockbreda PS and Holy Rosary PS.

Both teams performed brilliantly and were a credit to the school. Braniel Reds were narrowly beaten in the semi final on penalties whilst Braniel Blues went on to win the tournament with a 1-0 victory in the final having not conceded a single goal in 7 games!

A fantastic way to end the school football season. Having won the EDCO Cup in May, Braniel now have another trophy to treasure.
